now i dont want to think about mtk...im selling my tablet
i will clean up ALL not to try to leave or keep & pick

    im tired
    i think he's absolutely right
non sense if windows does not respond even though the "correct" driver is installed

i tried yesterday on a computer in my offce.
it has never been installed with sdk or mtk drivers nor connected with any tablet.
i installed nothing on this computer yesteday but only copied flashtool directory on it.
ran the exe then pressed the "download" button.
    what happened?
nothing! stuck! or nothing like an error popup (like nothing connected)!

this is what i saw many times on my computer connected with my tablet with its power off.
the computer can find nothing connected.

Sounds like the preloader must be corrupt on the tablet or something is FUBAR. The first thing you should see is the pc looking for the MT65xx Preloader driver. This is just a com port so flashtools or other flash utilities can see the device and may not effect the function of the tablet if it's corrupt, you just can't read or write through flashtools :-( Not something I'm willing to test

I created this thread. This is closed already.

I wanted to add some mods to my tab because I did not want to use someone else's custom rom because it often contains unwanted mods.
I only wanted root, 8 GB internal space & bug fixes over the latest official rom.

It sounds odd to me that almost none of you in this forum think it odd that SP FlashTool should work for U65GT.

I too have an Mlais M52 smartphone and this is installed with an MTK6752 chip.

When I wanted to download some update modules to this phone and tried that with SP FlashTool, that never worked (as pointed out in many tutorials) despite many attempts when the phone just got power-off, and required me to detach the battery pack off of the phone for successful downloads.

I think this failure is because the phone was in "charging" mode by both offpower and USB connection while the battery pack was attached.

The U65GT tablet is installed with its battery box by soldering and most people should not prefer to desolder it to update their tablets with SP FlashTool. So they have to try updating with their U65GT tablets in charging mode.

If you think it so easy to install MTK drivers into U65GT and flash it with SP FlashTool while "preventing" charging mode, why not do so for any other model of tablet or smartphone NOT removing its battery pack?

Your advice and suggestions all lack the essence the questioner needs.

I flashed Lepi's recovery through flastools to install SuperSU, I can also backup the ROM through flashtool.

How it works, is the tablet goes in to preloader mode, if not detected goes in to charge.

I have 3 other phones you have to remove the battery and another tablet with a battery disconnect button.

It's easy, install drivers and let your pc and tablet do the rest.

The battery leads are soldered with the tablet body in U65GT.
