XBMC / KODI Tweaks or improved settings for use on my Tronsmart S89H

Is there a need to adjust any settings in XBMC/KODI to take best advantage of the 2G RAM and 16G ROM in this device? Or is does the TV Addons setup wizard take care of that?

I'm also looking for info on how to record shows to my 32G SD card.

It has been recommended that you try something like this:

advancedsettings.xml

but for minix xbmc
Android/data/hk.minix.xbmc/files/.xbmc/userdata

You may need to create the xml on a computer with notepad++

Thanks! Are these settings I can do with the "Easy Advanced Settings" app?

Never mind. I "dove in" and quickly figured out how to use the App to enable, set and SAVE those values.

Just for completeness, do XML changes take effect immediately, or only read on Kodi boot?
