Tronsmart S89-H - xbmc and amlogic codec.

(Since the 2.1 finless old thread was closed to make way to a new one I decided to post an open topic just for this. It's annoying the hell out of me!!)

I finally managed to make some videos of my troubles with the amlogic codec and xmbc. In fact, it affects the use or hardware decoding overall in the other players as well.

PLaying on an old analog tv,

both xbmc oman's 13.4.0 and kodi 14.2

Firmware 112k4.

On Oman's it crashes the box on first run.

On Kodi, it oversizes the image with amlogic codec on. If I turn it off, the image fills the screen and properly displays.

I have this problem since I updated the box after purchase. Check it out.

xbmc-13.1-Gotham-4K-video-2160P-output.apk from stane1983 works but if I jump from media to media it goes back to the oversize problem. Only closing the video entirely I'm able to play another with everything in the screen (not oversized/zoomed). Also, I couldn't connect to the media databases to update content info.

I set permissions on superuser for xbmc too.

What is wrong with it? ((
