I found that the X1 running in 720p mode thanks to the fellas in the AW80 thread.
I noticed the other day Icons in Netflix looked crud not as sharp as they should.

TO resolve this in build.prop

set: ro.hwc.sysrsl=10
set: persist.sys.disp_density=240
and reboot.

May cause some other issues not sure yet still having a fiddle.

Screenshot just UI Resolution,Not video Resolution,videos are rendered on a different hardware buffer, and both that hardware buffer and the frame buffer are then scaled to whatever HDMI output resolution is set!!

I was playing a small, low res video with the internal player.

Completely dead and no longer powers up at all.

Checked the ac power adapter with a multimeter to rule it out and that was fine.

I did previously report that it had been consistently reaching 86C and becoming unstable when reaching this point, even after a fresh flash with no apps added.

That's a shame. I've heard ZIDOO is a good company. Hopefully the box has a warranty and they will send you another one. No modern computer should be capable of destroying itself, if operating under normal circumstances. The ZIDOO X1 is expensive for an H3 box, so device longevity would be expected. Hopefully, yours is an exception.

Yeah, the X9 is still under consideration for my next box. One failure does not deem a product a failure, or its maker. Stuff happens.
