This device seems nice looking and the wifi antenna seems great too but what about the gpu??? I see on your specification table that it uses the mali 400 gpu not the mali 400mp4 (even the second one is not so fast). So it means slower gpu and with a slower gpu but true 1080p hdmi output we will have a very slow and laggy device????

Looks good, waiting for someone release kernel sources for this quads devices to buy one of them. Linux must run very well on them. Ram 2Gb and the quad core power must made them a really good option for a real minipc.

Looks good but not interested as a owner of a MX1, I'm looking for 5Ghz network support and this not having that makes the Tronsmart T428 a much better option. Thats the only thing that holds me back from this unit.

ok i did a little digging and as far as i understand rockchip 3188 cpu itself comes with the mali 400mp4 gpu so its not possible that any rockchip 3188 cpu comes with another gpu other then mali 400mp4.. i think they just dont know what they are writing in their spec sheets or just simply dont care..

yep, you are right, the rockchip rk3188 use the Mali-400 MP4 GPU, I have sorry for this mistake in the description, have fixed that.

yes they are all same..you can check it here (just find the rk3188). but the frequency of the cpu and gpu can be different which could effect their performance.

I know that share kernel sources is not a geekbuying fault, but please if you are in contact with the manufacturers of the device, please speak with them about this. Share the sources of the kernel will make all this devices more populars, and a lot of more people will buy them. The devices with a big development community are more interesting to the consumers and they got and extra value with it.

BQ is a manufacturer in spain that share their kernel sources, they were the first that released the sources for rk3066 devices, and thanks to them we have linux running in our rk3066 devices, their tablets gets more popular thanks to the community that can modify and the improvements they give to the devices.

I would expect the antenna is included. A dutch tv stick news site wrote it is included and Aliexpress ships it with antenna. Why sells Geekbuying without antenna? And why is not possible to buy at Geekbuying a matching antenna for the iMito QX1?

HI, we just confirm with factory, they said the antenna is not included, they said the internal wifi antenna is already good, the external antenna is just the optional, we have got the working external wifi antenna, and will list in our site in 2 days. please wait.

I was working with those sources for a few days, and them work to compile modules, in fact I compiled 8712u.ko module for my usb WiFi dongle, but thouse sources need some work to compile a usable kernel for tvsticks. Omegamoon and Galland are looking those sources too and they are most experienced than me.

hi everyone

as you know qx1 missing an mhl port compaired to mx1/2 so i was thinking to buy measy rc16 air mouse which is a bluetooth air mouse so that i can piared with bluetooth and empty the usb port. but rc16 uses bt3 and imito has bt2.1.. my question is will rc16 work on qx1?

and one more question to "geekbuying"; when the rc16 will be available?
