Bricked M8S S812 android tv box,Can somebody please help!!!

New to this android tv Scene. Long story short I put the wrong firmware on the device and now it won't get past the boot logo screen. It use to say M8S at boot up, and now it say S812. I tried to put lolipop 5.1.1 install was a success and first boot up but was stuck at home screen. and remotes weren't responsive so i unplugged the unit and now I'm stuck here. Tried putting old software back on SD card and using the reset method holding the button down in the av port while plugging in the device. failed to go into recovery mode. Please forgive my stupidity I new it wouldn't work but I had to see for myself. Someone please help

I just kept trying different Firmwares using the SD method and finally found one my box was able to detect and Got it back to life. Was very happy when it worked.I spent countless hours trying to upload different firmwares and research but was a cold dead end. just when i was about to give up and chuck the damn thing at the wall because i thought it was bricked for good.. It finally worked. i tried atleast 7 different firmwares before the damn thing finally got into recovery mode.

For anyone in the same boat. just keep trying different firmwares. I was trying all M8S Firmwares from different links and nothing.. but once i tried ENYM8S if finally dectected so I'm guessing my box is a clone.

another **** box like mine ?? I tried a new rom for S812 and it just stuck on the logo - only way I got to install anything was openelec, awaiting the A to A USB cable to try again this week with other roms supplied by another forum (before I share)

good to here you got it sorted post up as were all in the same boat - google is useless and S812 AP6330 has pretty limited support

Ok Files are uploading now.
Either the EM8S or ENYM8S is the one that was able to bring my box back to life.
also I am using the M9 Firmware now because I found it to be the most stable with no issues also comes with root browser.
Anyways here are the firmwares that worked with my M8S Box.
Just a heads up some of these firmwares have issues like google play store won't update apps, or the wifi disabling itself every 25 minutes and some firmwares that do not disconnect from wifi, once you update ROM through OTA Program it messes up the wifi again. Another reason why I stuck with M9 After experimenting with the others.
Also it depends on which remote you have, round or square in some cases your volume and menu buttons will be reversed. There is also a fix for that.

Ive also tried M10 and M12 Firmwares. very unstable either the remotes didn't work, or the wifi wouldn't connect.

Don't forget to unzip the file and drag the 3 files required for SD method. Make sure your SD card is freshly formatted.

If any of these firmwares have helped you recovery your device. post which firmware for everyones future reference.

Quick tip, Hold the menu button down on your remote for a few seconds to quickly clear ram. A rocket ship will appear and will say memory released. works in apps too or when your watching kodi.

There a bitch to get into recovery, I needed to remove my sd card and usb stick before mine would - then finding a rom to flash properly was another mystery (why is it so hard lol) any other android device its simple

U have red light when is shut down?can u try hevc test files i need to know is it inside amlogic s802 or S812.u have clone m8s .What rom you run now kernel version and plz if u have a link .ty

im looking for openelec 2 days now. stil not found a working one.
