Bricked M8S S812 android tv box,Can somebody please help!!!

U have red light when is shut down?can u try hevc test files i need to know is it inside amlogic s802 or S812.u have clone m8s .What rom you run now kernel version and plz if u have a link .ty

I opened up the box AP6330 and the cpu said s812 ARMV7 processor running M9 firmware. Link is above. I played the test files for h265 and it plays crystal clear. On boot up my box says M8S again. It was when i bricked it, trying to put lollipop is when it changed the boot logo to S812. And there is a red light on my unit but its inside the back where you plug the ac cord. you would have to be in the dark to see it.

I have the M8s from Toosin. I have a red triangle when powered off. Blue when powered on. But i managed to brick mine. Ive run all firmware on the web I could find. And no luck. One of the issues being I cant locate the stock firmware from Toosin. I contacted them but get the run around. Any input would be great.

I was having the same problem with my M8. I finally got it flashing ROMs again, but now all of the ROMs I flash are missing Wifi/Wireless. Does anybody know how to reactivate a AP6330??

for me to unbrick my ott box m8s type: n200_m8_tz was to install the http://probox2.com/category/probox2-ex-firmware/open with the usb burn tool usb male to male. But i think the h265 does not work with this rom

Thanks for all the links to the firmware. I have a M9 that i have bee using to test Roms. Ive done a few from your list and a Megatron s812 rom. The mega tron did what I asked of it. Just seem to be a liitle slow on boot up. and loading Kodi. So im back to the M9 rom you have listed, it works flawlessly for me. Also I have a link to what I think is the Latest M8s rom fromEvy, But i cant log in. Anyone know how to log in to here: http://pan.baidu.com/s/1kTviTTH

thanks for the firmware. I'm liking the new features. When you open kodi a rocket ship appears and clears memory. new task bar at the bottom allowing you to screen shot, power off, hide task bar, file browser, back, home, windows and memory release.

I flashed a handful of roms on my M8s and could not get wifi to connect either. It just never stop searching. Which makes me think the Toosin Hardware has a different wifi chip than most M8s Units.

ok guys I keep getting something like this what can I do to move past it Ive done the bootable sd card but not sure if Im doing it right. When I hit make it seems to load it and thenmy pc formats right over the top so theres no recovery image on the SD card when I go to tranfer the files . Any help please!!!

UPDATE: i was able to sideload it through EXT sd card it said succesfull but only booted up to the mbox logo then froze. getting better????
