When you find a way to play 1080p, please share it.

And I forgot, the remote control does not work, so this is maybe a hardware difference.

    i checked that.
1080p playback works flawless on my box with this firmware.
so no, it´s not locked to 720p, problem must be on your side.

edit: i was wrong but it's fixed now

Yes, full hd 1080p in kodi works well.

Hi Boxx, thank you for your work.

              - The firmware is good

              - The remote = OK

              - added nexus 10 spoof = OK

              - added twrp 2.8.6.0 = OK

              - video 1080P in youtube = OK " Just the luncher (menu) is in 720p. "

antutu on firmware (MK80_SDK3.0_150627.img) untouched = The antutu score is not false, +/- 41.000

With Nexus10spoof.zip in (MK80_SDK3.0_150627_draco_remote_fixed.img) = The antutu score is indeed false.

!!! Please, tell whether the firmware is better, for geekbuying!!!

                Thanks for feedback.
Remove ro.sys.hiritsu from build.prop to see the real antutu score.

I have the same problem. Stuck on 720p. Settings->display is set to 1080p 60hz but kodi reports 720p and my screen definitely looks scaled up. So I am guessing its 720p scaled to 1080p

Your screenshots are all 1280x720 not 1920x1080. Everyone is 720 although your source media files are 1080p.

                        Same deal here to confirm
Screen res is showing 1080 on Sony TV

                        Kodi showing 720

i´m sorry, i see now that you were right.
to enable 1920x1080 resolution change this in build.prop:

remove or set to 10: ro.hwc.sysrsl=5
                          set: persist.sys.disp_density=240
                          reboot.

now kodi and antutu show 1920x1080.
this also fixes youtube full hd, so i was completely wrong.

                            Thanks Boxx

Kodi now showing the big numbers
You tube to me 720 still showing 1080 samples.
Not a big YT user still looking at settings etc.

                                This is weird.
Why should they create a firmware up to 4k video and lock it then down in the built.prop..
Maybe there is an issue, we didn't notice so far.
