We got some leaked 3066 3.0.8+ kernel sources from the rikomagic group. But what we are not getting is sources for 3066 3.0.36+ (JellyBean 4.2.2) nor are they releasing RK3188 kernel sources.

Rockchip has yet to release any sources. So far all we have gotten was leaked stuff from other companies that got the Rockchip SDK.

The kernel is GPL and thus must be released!
The OS (Google) is Apache licensed but we can get by without that as Google releases this code and we can deal with it.

OK, so I looked a little bit at the GNU Public License. I'm not sure what the implications are of Fuzhou being in Mainland China. I think trying to enforce a licence with a Mainland Chinese company is not likely to meet with any measure of success. They aren't a direct vendor of any product; they are a chip manufacturer and sell their product "through" other entities. You'd have better luck, for instance, pressing Minix for code (although I say that without knowing where that company is located). It would be easier to decompile the chip code than to try to pry it out of them.
Asus Transformer TF300T - ROOTED, with TWRP recovery and stock Jellybean
HTC Rezound - ROOTED with S-OFF, running stock ICS

Your probably right but there is one thing they all understand is $'s which will override any lack of regional accpetance/responsibility.

I certainly concur that we need to remind them of license obligations but I think pressure has to be put on the distributors who will then put pressure on the rest of the supply chain.

If it was ever possible it would be great to see all the sites like this pulling down the shutters for a couple of weeks and some form of boycott for a while. Hit amazon etc too with a "Dont buy ..... YET" campaign. As soon as the sales slow pressure builds and they will capitulate without doubt. That or loss a fortune or watch a competitor sweep in.

Im watchin the posts from Bob and other rom developers and they say that they need the source code for RK3188 devices so they can make a better OS for us end users of the android mini pc`s, and rockchip is not givin it. So what do you think: we make a petition to them with this post for releasing the source code. So just give a thumb up or +1 to sign yourself, then maybe someone at geekbuying can present it to the factories and maybe they will take it into consideration. Lets make 1 thousand or 10 thousand or more so this can happen and Bob and other rom developers can continue with their great work.
FYI: Rikomagic has released linux source code
