Can you please share the source code of it ? I am having OTT M8S S812 android box, and I think the same source code will work for both except LAN in my case.

when you say flash SuperSU in recovery do you mean bobs 89_root_update.zip because I've tried that and its still not rooted?

I tried all these things and more and none of them worked for me on a M8S+ and Android 5.1.1.
This did though

Flashed a TWRP image to it and used TWRP to install the latest stable SuperSu-v2.46. Properly rooted.

I bin trying to root my box for weeks now but i did'nt sucseed so far.
