Try a different power supply. Make sure the substitute power supply is the same type as the original, i.e. Tip Polarity, Volts and amps.
    Good luck.

I have a cs918 V7_0 20141208. Same thing happens to mine, hit power button, leds go red for a few seconds then off. No picture on tv. I verified the power supply and it measure 5V load and no load.

A power supply can test OK unloaded/loaded and still be bad. Voltage is only one parameter. Can it deliver the required volts at sufficient amps and does it do so without distortion, under load. Hard to test without specific equipment. The power supplies that come with some of these budget boxes are typically of poor quality.
I don't know what is wrong with your box, if anything, but I would try an appropriate substitute power supply. If you still have the issue with a different PS, then at least you will have ruled out a bad PS, and can focus on other areas.
        Good luck.

Tried a different 5V 2A supply and same thing Would it behave the same way if flash somehow became corrupt? I never flashed this box.

I have not had a 3188 box for very long and I don't have much time on it. Can your PC, the RK Batch tool or the RK Android tool see it?

Had you already installed the Rockchip USB drivers?

Again, I'm low time with the Q7 and 3188, but you may want to have a look here.

Thanks for the reply. I did not install drivers. When I connect it to my pc with usb cable, windows does not show anything. I have Device Manager open and nothing show up at all, and no system sound either. The leds turn red when I connect usb to PC and stay on. I am using a regular micro usb cable. Not sure if that makes a difference.

Drivers are installed. But if windows does nothing at all when plugged in, then something other than drivers is wrong. As I mentioned, I am using a regular micro usb cable to connect to my PC. Do I need a OTG usb cable?
