Generic TV Stick stuck in Android loading animation

First of all I want to say hi and mainly a big THANKS to everyone in the forums as I've always found them very useful.
This is my first time posting and this is my situation:

I've got a generic TV Stick with RK3066. It was working perfectly until I did something stupid. I've wanted to test some tweaking in the build.prop file so I've made a backup copy of the original file, did the modifications and rebooted the unit. Everything went just fine and the stick worked normally. Then, as the tweaking in the build.prop file didn't make the desired effect I've decided to restore the original file. So, changed the name of the modified file (so I can keep it just in case) and restored the previously backed one. Since the next reboot it stopped working. It only shows the Android boot logo and then it gets stuck in the loading animation.
Sadly I think It will be very hard to restore it as I can not go into recovery or flash mode (it doesn't have any hardware button, neither a reset one) and I don't have the original firmware anyway. The PC (Win 8) doesn't detect the unit at all. I just see a "restore" legend in he PCB where maybe it should be the reset but I'm not sure.

Hey blinkone! First of all, thank you for the welcome and reply.
I've thought about that option, but do you think I can use a ROM for MK808 in my device?? It only has WiFi (Realtek chip) so, if it doesn't work it would become useless.
About the recovery button, as I saw there is a pad in the PCB indicated as "recover" I've supposed maybe someone can figure where to short that pad in the PCB to test if it works. Maybe to GND?? I don't want to completely burn it down though... lol

I don't have that device so I cant say for sure what rom will work on it.

I cant see from your photo what wifi chip your device has so try to Find out what wifi chip your device has then flash a rom with the same wifi chip

Also maybe if you post a better photo of your device someone can help tell you have to short the recovery pad

The WiFi chip is a Realtek RTL8188EUS and the NAND chip is a Sandisk SDTNQGAMA-008G. Is there any JB or KK ROM that could work??
I'll try to take a better shot and post it. I think the recoever switch would be my first option so I can try to use ADB to restore the build.prop file and then, if it doesn't work, I can start trying different ROMs.

Please guys!! Is there anything I can try?? I definitely can't make ADB work so I've decided to flash the device. Can anyone tell me where to find a KK or JB Rom for a RK3066 device with RTL8188EUS WiFi chip??
