Stable ROM for MXV S805

Hi. I've this BoxTV, too.
I wrongly installed OpenElec for MXQ and now the Box doesn't boot.
Now I try to burn the ROM that is in this topic but wont burn.
I use USB_burning_Tool and I received an error "Close device handle 0x0000027c".

I haven't any usb2.0/usb2.0 cable with my box... How can update .img rom without that?
Can i use an app to to that?

A male/male cable is really cheap and will make you the process way more easy, just try not to buy any of those absurdly long ones ( >2 meters), the USB signal is pretty weak and can give you some errors in the flashing process. Also if you can't find any shop with them you can grab a couple of old USB cables, cut them and solder their cables matching their colors, it's pretty easy.

Yes - what I found is there is no lag when I play videos using default video player. But when I use MX Player or Kodi or VLC then there is audio video out of sync issue. Hence its not really bluetooth issue but video player issue.

I think both ROMs have same source.

From other thread:
10- Your system will now be upgraded with Build number KOT49H.20151119-1617, and probably now all future updates may be performed online.

Most likely the rom that I posted is the one that you will get after updating the rom posted in other thread. Hence if you want latest rom in one go then take the link from my thread

Not necessarily. Enjoy your device friend without getting too much into it. Use any rom or try multiple roms and decide by yourself the best one that suits your needs.

Can someone re-host it? I saw the link to the other thread(vensmile one) but the file is ~60megs smaller, and thus not the same rom.

1- Don't use VM (Parallels, VMware, etc) to burn the firmware
2- Don't use desktop frontal USB ports (internally wired)
3- Try changing the computer USB port (MXV's must be port 4)

For anyone looking to buy the MXV, Gearbest has them briefly on sale for $29.99. There were about 100 left at that price last I checked.
Note: Not a recommendation for the device or seller, one way or the other. Just a heads up.
