ok just tried a usb but think the installation files are trying to access the SD for some reason as I get error reports shown in the pic. Thanks for your help so far,

I have no probs with install, but big problems with 'stuttering' on live tv (simpleiptv pvr). Same as on linux.ru images. Only codesnake's firmware doesnt make me any problems. Explain of a problem:
Power on
When im on kodi, i open live tv
I open pvr channel - works without problem
Then on playing channel i put ok and go right to option for changing channel, i put other (any other) and channel opens and from than it 'stuttering' everything.
If i open channel and close it and open another one, it works but soon as i go to menu for example change subs on channel it starts to stutter.

Worth to mention that this is problem on HD channels, SD channels works without problem.

Again codesnakes firmware dont makes this (but its a bit old release), and M8 6.0 which i find here (some topic) same works.

I posted a comment along with a few others that their is a problem with the video playback on this 5.95 rom. It is touch and go you get a message that " " unsupported signal, please check output device"," on some sites. I would stick with the 5.9.3 rom until this issue is addressed.

Turning off aml codec acceleration in video settings fix this, not the best solution but it works.

op updated with k200 rc3 had bit of time while mrs dolls her self up for tonight :-)

Loaded the latest rc3 still have the " unsupported signal, please check output device" issue on my m8. Reloaded ipodtouchdudes Openelec 5.95.3 Beta 2 M8 zip: OpenELEC-Amlogic.arm-M8-5.95.3-iPTD-Beta-2.zip and this solved the problem if any others have this issue on their M8.5.595 rc3 still has the video issue.

I got the same problem, some x264 encoded files failed to play. The unsupported signal message come from the TV, not the m8. All 5.95.5 release for m8 (kerber, neomode and yours) have this problem. It's have something to do hardware acceleration, turning it off in video settings fix this, but playback is skippy.

Lowsum sums it up x264 files "a lot do not play". Would love to have 15.2 to try on my M8 but I think what lowum is saying is correct that the video issue problem is the same n all 5.95.5 builds. Can someone check ipodtouchdudes Openelec5.95.3 Beta 2 to see what mods can be made to this rom to upgrade it to 5.95.5 For my m8 this is by far the best rom at this time with no video playback issues..

zero issues since install, no random re starts and it might be my imagination but its faster and IPTV stuff like dexter or pypher works like a charm for sport (great work justme)
