Memory has corrupted or failed. You can short the pins, it may take two people or one four armed person, just place a needle between 7-8 or 8-9 in the memory (2nd pic, just beneath the green part) not sure which end...and while also pressing reset plug into usb...This will get you mask rom mode and you may be able to flash from that.

Again, I don't own this device and I usually use the Android Tool to flash my 3288 box. I'm not very experienced on the 3188, but I think the "upgrade" software button is the right one.

It is a Windows tool. I don't know if it is suitable for the 3188. I don't know that it isn't either. I just don't want to give you wrong advice.
The batch tool you are using should probably work.
The Android Tool is usually included in the update packages for my box and others. I'm sure it can be downloaded from somewhere, I just don't know where right now. I am posting this on my phone and searches from it can be tedious. I will post tonight when I get to my PC.
