    Tronfy X6

This seems to be one of the newer additions to the RK3368 line.

There is no mention of it on the official Tronfy website but being listed by Tinydeal.

Initially i thought just another box but looking at the specs, they have gone for a Mali-T6X GPU instead of the Power VR6110 that seems more prevalent on other boxes of the same ilk.

I'm not sure what the spec variances are between the Mali-T6X and Power VR6110 so wondering whether this is an improved GPU that could potentially have an advantage?

    It doesn't state whether it is a T604, T624 or T628 onboard.
R-TV BOX S10, Beebox N3150, Chuwi Hibox, Nvidia Shield, A95X Max

It has PoverVR 6110 GPU just like all other RK3368.

Gearbest has that box, but it did not seem to be significantly less expensive than far better supported varieties, like ZIDOO and HPH.

          This Box comes from SunnyTV.
It is only a OEM Box.
We will see more of them.

The models on Geekbuying and Gearbest also talk of having the Mali-T6X series GPU, so if it's not the case, then a few ad changes need to be made.

Couldn't find this design on the SunnyTV site.

A SoC is a SoC. I would think none exists that offer more than one type of GPU. But who knows, I'm certainly no expert, I may not even qualify as a novice at this point.
Errors in ads at the Chinese places is not unheard of.

Can you confirm what GPU is onboard and perhaps create a review yourself as that might be very useful?

I've seen that before and it likely the case but just ensuring that we are seeing typos and that it's not something that somebody has managed to modify.

It is PowerVR 6110 GPU 100%.
Would be very cautious buying the device as it's only available on Tinydeal.
Tinydeal is not known for firmware updates(they are an e-commerce shop) and would probably replace the Tronfy X6 with other TV boxes if it doesn't sell well.

Is the X6 unlike the X4?

The Zidoo X6 has much better firmware support and they fix issues.

X4 - rebranded http://www.enybox.com/En/product/html/?209.html stay away, firmware unstable, hardware unstable, no customer support
(They were the company that put fake 2GB RAM in their RK3188 boxes, no heatsinks, no capacitors on boards, 2A(1A actual) power adaptors))
Looks like Tronfy(people usually confuse the name with Tronsmart) sells rebranded boxes and projectors, so highly likely they don't have their own engineers to fix firmware issues like Nagrace, Beelink, Tronsmart, Zidoo & Himedia

I did not make it clear, my appologies. I was referring to the Tronfy X6 and the X4@GeekB. Yeah, I am leary of the lesser OEMs.
Those are some nasty "business" practices you mentioned, I would think the Tronfy name was used to confuse consumers, so too the use of X6 for their 3368 offering. I accept that Zidoo is one of the few top-tier companies and it was not my intent to confuse Zidoo with the appearent fly-by-night Tronfy brand.
