Yea I tried that but had no success, it worked on previous boxes but not this one. I think the location on the box being coded into the rom being Shanghai is the problem.

I didn't try the build.prop but this apk works.

yea I use that app too but i would love to know how to make it permanent.

I found by editing this portion of build.prop the problems with playstore are sorted. remember to backup old prop just in case of problems.

Mine's comes with a rom rooted dated in 20150610.

Do you think that i must update with the firmware you posted before?

I haven't seen the google play install problems. What are the apps you cant install?

Hi again, if you are able to install apps without any problems I would keep the firmware you have and leave it alone, my box was unable to install a lot of apps including Facebook and Google photos but thankfully sorted now.

Ok, so I used this ROM/Firmware to update my M10. I DID NOT wipe date or media, once flashed I installed Super User from the play store and updated the binary when prompted and now I'm rooted.

did flashing this firmware fix the playstore issues ?

I am trying to re ibstall firware, after a disaster!
Using the Amlogic burning tool.

Burn succsessful till 97% then it stops saying-

0x30702004 uboot/temperature testing/ gets results/ out of range

What can I do please ?

Problem solved by re setting the default temperature range at the VIEW tab to 20-60
