    Vensmile MXV S805 latest ROM

https://mega.nz/#!ykdmjThBJust wanted to contribute to the community with the latest (1023 from October - 2015) ROM for Vensmile MXV (may work on other S805 similar model/brand as well).

1- Download and install this file on your PC:
    https://mega.nz/#!65lzHBaR!v6KP3JKn3...jgBO72XkattvvQ <- Previous Version

    EDIT: Newer version here:
MEGA provides free cloud storage with convenient and powerful always-on privacy. Claim your free 20GB now

2- Download and uncompress the ROM file:
    https://mega.nz/#!TwtSkB7a!C4PMNTmyC...qo92jRKRUiywWM

    3- Run the program

4- Connect the male/male USB cable like this one on USB port 4:
    http://www.homewired.com.au/componen...c8d3a1f290.jpg

5- While pressing the reset button, connect the power chord and press the power button once

6- Release the reset button as soon as the USB Burning tool recognizes the device

7- Click "File", then import image and select the uncompressed aml_upgrade_package.img

8- Click stop after the image has been restored, and connect the device to the TV

9- On the device (using the remote) go to Other / System Update, there will be one more online update to the system (make sure that you have no sd card plugged in during the update).

10- Your system will now be upgraded with Build number KOT49H.20151119-1617, and probably now all future updates may be performed online.

Any questions please post comments below.

Don't use USB hubs, connect the device directly to the PC.
Don't use virtualization (Parallels, VMware, etc virtual machines doesn't work, if using Mac use Boot Camp only).

I'm afraid this ROM isn't compatible with your device then.

                      Have you tried this build?
