Download the file and put it in your system/lib folder, replacing the old one. Then set the permissions to the same as the other files in the folder, i think it is rw- r-- r--.

    Hi Phinc

Do i have to still update the libstagefright.so file despite changing from XAF to "justXBMC.apk"?

Any pointers on where and how to update this file?

You can stay with finless 1.7 but you have to update your libstagefright.so file.

I have an original MK808B and running Finless 1.7 and XAF with MX player as the default media player. I get an "external player active" error with several live streams and was looking to replace the XAF with another XBMC version. Will Lewy's "justXBMC.apk” take care of this issue and make XBMC a much more smooth experience?

If I do use "justXBMC.apk”, which is the most compatible ROM? Do I have to also replace Finless 1.7?

Also split MiniX HFW rom into different parts.
Replace kernel.img & boot.img in MiniX HFW folder with your split rom files from above.

Flash with Rockchip Flash Tool 1.37.

You might also have to edit system.img from your rom and copy the wifi/bluetooth files from there to Minix HFW rom system.img file that has been extracted and build it again.

Hi, I tried this and I got an error after Rockchip Flash Tool 1.37 download the firmware to my device, this happens during the firmware check process, how do I fix that ? Thanks for all your help.

Thanks!!! Do you have a different link,or can you email the kernel? Hubic is not letting me download, it is sitting at 0B/sec. I was also looking for the 1080p version so I could compare them. Or use multiupload.

I don't understand why it's so difficult to download this kernel. Who puts the time and effort into creating such a thing and then limits its distribution? What a waste. All the results in Google link to sendspace.pl which definitely doesn't have the kernel zip there.

ALSO, does anyone have 2dark4u kernels v1.4 (or v1.5 if available) 1080P & 720p? I tried to sign up to download them from their site, but never received the registration email. jamesklyne @t gma!l D0T com
