    MK808 RK3066 any "t" gotchas?

Got suckered and bought a rk3188 stick that was really a 3188t, which I could have lived with, but they also used the cheapest garbage nand on earth that guaranteed system corruption at some point. Any similar issues with MK808 RK3066 sticks to look out for??

You'll find that the RK3066 is not as fast as the RK3188T, and then some have been limited to 1.0 mhz. Aside from that, buying an MK808 is almost a crapshoot as to what you may eventually get. They have been made with different wifi/bluetooth modules (RK901, RK903, AP6210, RTL8723, MT5931, MT6622, etc...), different processors, (Rockchip, AMLogic, Allwinner). The most recent and most modern model has the AMLogic S805 processor and should work pretty well, and you got a good deal on it if you paid $15.00. Good luck!

These are the "claimed" specs. which if true seem decent, I just want a mini-box to run linux on, the current one I have would be fine but even running from the sd card with the craptactular nand a week is about as long as an image has lasted, and it even manged to corrupt a samsung 32gb card to the point it would not format..

This is for a basic headless mini-server, no monitor or gui just ssh access, running mainly twonky and some lightweight ipkg stuff that the 3066 has plenty of horse power to run,
