If there is anything I can do on my side to help let me know. Wouldn't mind learning a bit about these new devices

If possible attach the dmesg output from stock rom.

Also if possible try to carefully open the device, photograph both sides of pcb with enough detail with emphasis on the markings on the various chips. These will help in identifying the device configuration and getting the ROM right.

If we can setup a CM10.1 github repositories one for RK3066 based devices and one for RK3188 based devices it will be great rather than Binary shuffling. Looks like a long shot now even though we have lot of things at hand now including kernel sources, information about wifi chips etc compared to year back. Lot of work going on for these devices. I think we take initiative to streamline these and get the repository setup. once it is done I'm sure many people will take interest and help fix the open ends.

X31 RK3188 quad core & Jesurun NX003II quad core device identical?

I found a custom rom by neomode for X31 RK3188 quad core device which looks exactly like the Jesurun nx003ii quad core device, just want to check with you experts here if both are the same? I don't want to risk flashing my nx003ii quad core with incompatible rom as i have no stock rom for it.

I found the X31 RK3188 quad-core on Geekbuying.com, they provide a stock rom link & a custom rom by neomode link:

I got one jesurun NX003II, this works for long time, but after start any download over WiFi this crash.

I tried flashing my Jesurun NX003II with <X31_CROM_NEOMODE_20130806> but WiFi / BT was not working.

Anyhow, managed to have it working with Stock ROM from Rikomagic MK802IV, but now there is no camera support

Thanks for the link - I tried it. As it says in the image name - it's 720p, not 1080p (as it was previous ROM). Therefore, Antutu score is just a bit better (16.500 opposed to previous 15.500). WiFi works OK. Camera app is there, but it crashes Skype crashes, too...

Antutu is reporting RK3188 with ARMv9, while XBMC says RK3066 with ARMv7... strange but nevermind.

My priority is playing video streams from TVHeadEnd server... Unfortunatelly, HD streams are choppy as with original Stock ROM. Tried playing those in XBMC and in VLC...

Am I wrong or is this Rikomagic Stok ROM? Is there anything else more promising that I could try putting on this Jesurun NX003II stick?

Yes this is a RKM Stock Rom.
I will work on that Rom because I am getting an MK902 from RKM.
Than we should also have a 1008p Rom.

I tried this MK902 but wifi and BT not working on my Jsurun NX003II.
Tried, all 2 stock ROMs for MK802IV, all not got wifi and bt
X31 ROM works but crash after some time under video apps, like youtube, netflix, etc ...
