Hello, I don't think so. It should work, as the Finless ROM is based on the official firmware, same for Remix OS official or Finless' Remix. In any event, flashing back to the official F/W would fix it. The latest official firmware and VidOn 15.2 appears to have fixed the DTS audio dropouts. I have not tested it extensively myself. I think they are still present in the Finless ROM, as it is based on a previous F/W version.
Balbes150's OpenELEC for this box works well, it boots and runs from SD card or flash drive. Trying it will not alter the installed Android. Same for his Linux bits.
    Cheers.

But I am not finding the VidOn on my new S95 Telos. Did it get lost when I flashed Finless or something? I flashed the latest stock firmware over Finless. Thanks

I am pretty sure Finless removed almost all non-google apps, he likes a clean and lean firmware, so users can install only those apps they chose, keeping resources free for the things that are important to the individual user. Often referred as removing bloatware.
VidOn 15.2 can be downloaded over a the Tronsmart forum. I don't have a link, but I think it is on the first page of the s95 forum.

Keep in mind, that it may take several minutes for all included apps to show after a fresh flash of a factory image. After a few minutes, reboot, they will probably be there.
