If the cause of frameskipping is discovered through this ROM/Kernel, is it then possible to fix it on ie the MK808B?

I guess that would depend on the nature of what actually causes the problem.

        4.1.1 has the same issue.

you guys might have to take a look at your router as the source of your video problems. My cx-919 plays flawlessly using a cisco wrt320n

So, while I'm hoping I am wrong here; are you saying the problems only represents when streaming, and people still haven't pinned it to a network issue..?

I have Netflix, xbmc/navi-x, hulu, TV portal, and YouTube on my cx-919 with original 4.1.1 rom and everything plays smoothly. I use a hp touchpad power supply. Have had no problems at all.

Full HD right? What type of bitrates are we talking?
                  And, what ROM?

It depends on the source, Netflix I would say just below 720p, xbmc 1080p but it takes longer to buffer so I mostly watch 720p. Same with YouTube. Hulu is a very crisp 720p to me. Tv portal when using either bs or mx players just above dvd quality.

Ok. So now I have installed Finless 4.2.2 on my stick. Very bad playback on anything i play. YouTube,Netflix, MX player 720p 1080p.
As before, if I play for example YouTube 4k videos then its the same choppiness. Like 20fps. But when I move the mouse the video becomes butter smooth.

I hope that RK3188 SDK v2.0 will fix all this. Cant wait to see.

Pretty sure it would be easier finding the Holy Grail than finding one of these damn things that dont have issues.

Netlfix playback buggy on CX-919 v4.2.2

Has anyone seen an improvement in Netflix when moving from version 4.2.2 to 4.1.1 on the CX-919?

I have choppy playback and crashes in Netflix with 4.2.2 (that came installed). Are there any fixes for this? If 4.1.1 is the fix, could someone point me towards the image download/instructions? Netflix is why I bought the CX-919, other aspects of the OS are less important.

                                Thanks for any help.
