I think I screwed up the recovery on my MK808B+

I flashed the Superceleron's ROM on my device, and I've been having compatibility problems with it.
I downloaded Finless ROM, and tried to flash it with the App without success. It would just boot up the Superceleron ROM.
I tried using the reset button power-up method, and the device would not boot-up until I let go of the button. Once I released the button it would just boot up the ROM.
Is there any way to re-flash the recovery?

Download and try with amlogic usb burning tool..restore your stock firmware or install a full custom rom compatible with your wifi module model

From what I found on Google, the USB burning tool requires booting into recovery mode.

It's a flasher. Check if pc recognize the device. In my mk808b plus(with m805 and ap6212) when i press reset button, and keep pressed it also after insert powercable, the led turnoff to indicate that recovery is running. Check if you are pressing correctly or simply open the case(more easier) and click reset button

What IMG do I select? each zip file contains several img files. finless has recovery.img, boot.img bootloader.img logo.img twrp.img, and super celeron has boot.img, logo.img and recovery.img.

            Firmware stock: http://blog.geekbuying.com/index.php...core-tv-stick/

Check your model and download rom for pc(not sd)

Will this ROM work on a clone MK808b+ (without WiFi of course)?

The program yes, of course. The rom depends by the clone i suppose. Ask stock firmware at your seller or try to understand which clone you have by opening the case and reading name in the pcb and on wifi module.

So I flashed the original ROM with the tool, and as expected, I didn't have WiFi. Then I flashed Supercelleron's ROM again, just added recovery. Now I have WiFi, but again, most of the apps aren't compatable with my stick.

But your problem is the recovery or the app compatibility?
Which apps are incompatible? Custom roms are spoofed(fake name) with nexus10 string for improve app compatibility. Your is a strange problem.
Google play store doesn't install the apks or write not compatible with your device?
I will suggest you to reset market play data and add a new user without backup function.
Another test: go to recovery, wipe all datas, reinstall custom rom and then new account for the market disabling backup

Now I have recovery. I flashed a ROM using the AMLogic tool to get back recovery, then I used the update app to flash Supercelleron's ROM. I tried clearin data and cache in the google store app. When I try to install google chrome, google photos, and many others I get a messege that these apps are not compatable with my device.

But in mediaboxsetting is showed nexus10?
                            Other solutions:
Go into Settings > Applications, click Google Play store, clear cache, data, and uninstall updates
Do the same thing with Google Services Framework

Reboot, then re-add your Google account and let the Play Store re-update. That should fix it

Other: use market helper and change device name

Yes, Nexus 10. Android version 4.4.2.
All these apps installed on my stick with the original ROM.
What else can cause google play to think that the device is not compatable with apps?
Maybe the fact that the kernel version, or compile info is wrong?
