I just reverted back to stock rom to test out hdmi 2 issue i was having. The sock rom did fix the issue. Bob, not sure if you can see any differences between stock rom and your rom for hdmi 2 compatibility?

To answer your question TurboMan... Here is what i did to revert.

1. Get a male to male usb.
2. Use your PC and Use usb burning tool software...steps can be found in http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...smart-vega-s95
3. After that make sure box is not connected to internet and you will want to root the box because tronsmart will force auto update to their latest version.

Couple more thing... After rooting, you will need to get titanium backup app and uninstall the ota apk. You can also try using es explorer and going into system folder and delete the 2 fota folders. I did both and then in the build.prop file i commented out the ota check by putting a # in front of the line(the line is towards the bottom and has an url with an ip address in it)

I changed nothing with HDMI detection so something else is going on. What stock ROM did you flash back to?

Did you go the PC route? Which version are you currently on? Flashing with SD card won't work. Also if you did pc route, in the instructions. I believe it says that you need to copy some license file to a certain folder. Did you do that? If that didn't work, try downloading stock rom from tronsmart site amd use the license key from there. not copy any licences at all i just add this file Vega S95_Meta_151128.img and it failed and i did with usb to usb on my pc,hmm i cant see any license file in there mate

The license file is for the usb burning tool. It should be in zip file you downloaded for the usb burning tool.

Finless, please help! I have two M8 s802 boxes that are not seeing any access points or networks. When the MBox settings open it gets stuck when I check wifi because it is not finding any networks. Please help. I have tried so many different ROMs and I have reset the box with the USB Burn Tool. Still nothing will start the wireless card in order to find a network to connect to. Thanks

Hi Bob, Thank you for the great job, I really love it and it just make my life better.

Due to almost everything is fine, so I just made a bug and ideas report.

1. #Clipborad# / Copied text cannot be pasted, the popup "Paste" button simply not working when you long press in text field.

2. #AndroidTVRemote# / Google has released two remote app, which could control AndroidTV devices through other android phones or tablets etc.,
They are:
"Google TV Remote" com.google.android.apps.tvremote Google INC.
"Remote Control" com.google.android.tv.remote Google INC.
Unfortunately, they are both not working on S95s, at less mine. I guess maybe there is a platform missing or something else I couldn't understand.

3.#MXPLUS_IR# / I also have a MX PLUS with 2GB memory and dualband wireless, I flashed it into a S95 META, yes it works like a charm except when I long press a key on the IR remote for about 5 seconds, the unit goes off and stay power down. I think this problem won't be widely because original S95s ship with a RF remote instead of IR ones with MX PLUS.
