New - RemixOS - S95 Telos - Finless style :)

Hello Bob, From Remix OS, adb reboot recovery won't get you to recovery. That is strange. I assume you are running your Remix OS with root. Does this matter? If rooted, what if SU reboot recovery? So if I put the EZ's recovery.img and an update file on the root of an SD card, would this work? Would you want to see the logs from my attempts?



I am certain you realize from my posts, that I don't really know what I am doing.

I have not had time to play with it further but will again soon.
It's possibly because of my rooted version being installed.

i am assuming there is no fastboot option on this like with nexus devices to be able to boot a temp recovery, any way we are able to flash your recovery used with ezroot.zip as an update.zip in the remix os recovery?

Not a fast boot but similar. On boot for recovery, if it sees a recovery.img on SDcard it will boot that. If not it boots recovery from EMMC.

So i am trying to flash back to android using the usb burning tool, getting the device to show up in the tool but as soon as i add the .img from the latest and december stock tronsmart firmware it shows mac 0 and hitting start results in a Get key failed error, any tips??

never mind solved it extracted the license.rar all is working now so far so good

NOTE: This ROM is only for the Telos, so if you try it on your Meta, you do so at your own risk.

I loaded this ROM on the Meta. All seems well. Though as expected, no WiFi/BT. Otherwise, seems to run very well, Eth works fine.

I also loaded the Ugoos AM1 Lollipop F/W. The WiFi/BT did not work in that F/W either...as expected.

HeHe! Nothing ventured, nothing gained. After seeing the teardown of the AM1 at CNX, I felt the risk was low. The AM1 and Telos look virtually identical. The pre-production unit they had even had the SATA connector on the board, though it was not accessible thru the case. Otherwise both are 2GB/16GB w/AP6335.
I guess the S95's Remix or Bob's Remix ROM would run fine on the AM1.

Yes Bob, I would like a Meta version. While your Telos Remix runs fine on the Meta, having BT and WiFi would be outstanding.

Thanks for making the RemixOS Rom, I just got my Telos and flashed it with this rooted Rom I have a couple of issues if you can help.

1. if i set the resolution to 1080p 60hz and set the screen to fill the screen then shutdown and restart it reverts back to defaults and my set resolution is lost and i have to reset again is there a fix for this.

2. i removed vidon and installed kodi jarvis release version and noticed from a plugged in USB mouse right click does not work but i know the mouse works fine else where just not on this and i have tried another same result.
