Need to install device driver Cube U30GT2 to my computer windows vista usb port

I've just released a RK3188 ROMs for the Cube U30GT 2 based on cube's 4.2.2 ROM of 1 June 2013

Cube u30gt 2 4.2.2v8 900supersport 1.1 ROM


Notes

• Flashing will delete everything on your Cube consider backing up first and remove any sdcard

Instructions

• Download and extract to a folder
• connect the tab to the PC (you did remove the sdcard)
• start the ROM flash tool
• put the tab into flash mode, the PC should detect it, see below for instructions
• install drivers if required
• erase idb
• flash, the ROM kit is correctly configured
• the tab should boot to recovery and format cache, data and sdcard (this will take a few minutes)
• the tab should now boot

Let me know how this goes.

So what do you get?

• defaults to english uk
• root
• some bloat removed
• busybox and init.d support
• play/market fixes for more apps in Google Play
• a choice of 2,4,6 and 8 gig app space, 2 is the default but the others can be selected from the flash tool

Booting to Bootloader

• Power off the Cube
• hold Vol + and connect to usb
• After 3 to 4 seconds release Vol +
• The Cube should be detected by the PC.
• If you have not already installed the drivers now would be a good time. I've included the drivers in the ROM kit in the RockusbDriver folder.

I have a brand new cube u30gt2, my first android. I (very bravely) want to install 4.2.2 onto my tab, get rid of all the Chinese stuff, and start having some fun. Years ago I worked on Unix systems, and since, have forgotten almost everything I ever knew. I have followed this thread and downloaded and extracted the ROMKit4.2.2v8 and the U30GT2_CWM files.

Now I need to install the device driver for the u30gt2 on my computer. My USB cable is connected. The tablet is showing the little green rocket in the center of the screen. I am pretty sure it is waiting for an update. My computer is trying to install the device driver and can't find one. Is the driver somewhere in the 2 extracted files? If not where is it?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

In the kit are several sub folders. The drivers are in the drivers folder.

V3 Hardware

I don't think so because first I had v3.0 and after flashing his firmware it went to v2.1. I don't know if that's a problem.

Nice the wifi is fixed in this update.

The V3 is referring to the latest Hardware not the Firmware.

I have seen a few screen shots of the Settings/About Tablet with 4.2.2 but nothing about hardware is listed.


May be Only on the V3 models..??

I know v3 is reffering to the hardware and my hardware is actually v3 but after I flashed the firmware it changed from v3 to v2. I think it just replaced to build.prop or something.

I still think you are refering to the Firmware as that is V2.xx

The Cube Chinies forum does refer to a 2nd Batch and V3 Harware..

just coming around. Still enjoying my SGP311 alias Sony Xperia Z tablet.
It´s not the re-invention of a tablet tech but EVERYTHING WORKS out of the box.
Over 20.000 Antutu Points...CLEARLY more power which I only expected for gaming but no...even the OS runs like hell. Sure has to do with the fastest Memory I have ever seen build into a mobile device.
58,5mb/sec. READ and about 28mb/sec. write. That is of course miles ahead of a U30GT2.
Wlan reception is another dimension compared to the Cube! I can even see WLANs my FritzBox hardly recognizes. Wlan is as hoped much fast too. 2,3 mb/sec versus the 1,35mb/sec with the cube.
The Display has deeper blacks but not that much I wan´t to point out. Though the all over backlight is more accurate with the Sony the Cube has clear flashlights in corners (especially down right on mine).

Some more words about the displays and more....both have Full HD resolution.
Touch is perfect on both but with the cube I experienced something like dead corners while gaming. Reproduceable!!! Setting the Cube to sleep and reactivation it fixes the problem always right then. Maybe another fault the Cube has.
I have a feeling that the touchscreen is affected by the heat of the chipset. But I´m just wild guessing. HEAT...yeah...which is never noticeable with the Sony btw. I LOOOOOVE the rubber back of the Sony. With the cheap plastic on the back of the cube I always get sweaty hands with time. Rubber-Sony feels much better in my hands and is definetly useful.
Accu! Sony 6000mah! Cube 7200mah! But the Sony clearly outruns the Cube.
6,25h Wlan surfing...4h high power or gaming. Standy is amazing with the stamina mode...
Doing my thing with the tablet it has not seen a power port for 3d 15h! And 38% battery left. WOOOOWW! Charging....this is where The cube is a clear winner...as I remember 4hrs and the cube is fully charged. The Sony uses 1500mA loading power so this pays off....badly...over 6hrs until that beast is full. Keeping in mind that the cube has 1200mah more accu. Cube loads at 2000mA! Bought a 2000mA loader for the Sony. Will check if it helps. The USB-Port of the Sony....I don´t like it. It´s unprecise and would be impossible to connect something to the USB-Port in the dark. Cube´s is not perfect either but still more precisely made.
SD Card! The Cube is at its end using a SDHC 32GB card.
The Sony manages to run a SDXC 64GB card out of the box and since the "S" Tablet from sony runs 128GB cards I guess it will be possible with the "Z" too or soon to be
