Could someone help me install the latest firmware please? I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but hopefully it's something really stupid and easy to fix!

I've downloaded m8pro_RK3368_20160326.rar, extracted m8pro_RK3368_20160326.img and copied it to an SD card. When I boot the box with the toothpick method though, I get to a debug screen with no option to install anything from SD. It's hard to tell what the options actually are as the first few characters are cut off the left side of the screen, but it looks like there's options to boot, apply update from ADB, power down, etc.

I tried copying the original .rar file to SD, and zipping the .img file back up and naming it update.zip, but none of that worked either.

I don't really know what I'm doing, to be honest, just making it up as I go along from any advice I can find but there's not that much out there written for a beginner so I'm totally stuck!

          Hi,

petehepple:You should use a FactoryTool application to rewrite the FW.

Is anybody know how can i rotate the screen on the device? I tried several things, but no success.

          Appreciate your answers.
