The CS868 has a discrete RTL8188 chip for wireless (2.4 GHz B/G/N & no BT) whilst the Measy has a RTL8723AS daughter card for (2.4 GHz B/G/N & BT 4.0). Also they use different NAND; 2 x 64 Gbit (Micron 29F64G08CBAAA) for the CS868 whilst Measy use 2 x 32 Gbit (Hynix

    Good luck recovering.

        kartikpatts,

Where did you receive you stick from? Your best bet is to contact your vendor or the manufacturer (Measy) to obtain this firmware.

          warning to 4k decoding...

4k videos will be encoded with hevc codec ( aka h265 ). At this moment only snapdragon 800 is capable of hardware decoding hevc , not so the power vr 544 in allwinner soc.
So 4k in allwinner soc is useless.....

Do you really think someone will try playing a 4k file on a 720 kernel?

Besides, I hardly believe that encoding in h265 will get any popularity as long as there are too few high-end devices capable of decoding and people like us are not going to have them soon...

EDIT: As far as I understand from this article the PowerVR Series5, which 544 is, are all decoding h.265. Correct me if I'm wrong.

i don' t blieve anyone will play 4k file on such device ( even if is not the 720p kernel the limitation, becuse if this device worked well it could display trough hdmi a higher resolution despite the 720p kernel, just like my note 2 does. My note 2 has a 720p kernel but display real ( not upscaled) 1080p video on hdmi...)
i am just stating that the 4k advertising of this soc is useless because the lack of hevc hardware decoding.
              Hevc is the future...

                Personally I don't care about 4k videos as I don't have such a TV.
Secondly, this device PLAYS 4k (h.264) files TODAY. So, unlike rk3188 devices, it plays like finger in the nose any 1080p.
Why would you think it should play a non-documented format which was just officially announced and not yet in wide? In the same way I can say that this device is not as good as PC because it will never do as a real PC does.

Oh yeah! And surely you're the only one who sees the light!

If you are right and hevc will be widely used, then shouldn't all the videos (1080,720) be encoded in hevc? That will mean that all actual devices will go strait to dustbin.
