    Installer features:
    1. Choice of installer language English/Russian. If you dont use "data migration" option, it will be language of system.
    2. Internal memory repartition. Safe way to change during installation the size of the internal memory (the memory allocated for storage of user apps and data, as well as system settings) 2 to 14GB (2GB stock size). Unlike to the repartition using Flashtool not affected NVRAM and preloader partitions. Attention! Because the internal memory size is increased by reducing the size of the internal SDcard, all data on the internal SDcard in the process of repartition will be erased, you must first save them to external storage.
3.User data migration. Is an automated, simplified analog Titanium backup. When this option is selected, on the external SD-card will be created temporary backup containing the user apps and their data, as well as accounts, sms, mms (not tested, but should be), regional and language settings, wifi access point. After installation, the data will be restored, the backup removed. Depending on the number of programs installed, installation with the use of this function may take up to 10-15 minutes, and also requires free space on 100% healthy external SD card. n the case of lack of free space will be given a message, checking of the SD-card is yours. Migrated all user applications, excluding integrated in this firmware, a choice is not possible. Application such as gmail, inbox, books etc. migrated, but without saving the data.
    4. Navbar choice. You can choose a standard navigation bar or with additional buttons for volume and screenshot.

    Installation:
    1. Fully charge your tablet. Download Cube_T98v1.3, and put on an external SDcard. Do, if you need, the backup of your apps by using Titanium backup.

    2. Install TWRP 2.8.7.0 or 3.0.2 from jemminy:
Download adbrecovery.7z, unpack in c: \adbrecovery, turn on USB debugging on a tablet. Open the Device Manager. Connect the powered tablet. If an unknown device appears in Device Manager 'T9 Android Phone', install the driver from the folder C:\adbrecovery\DriverWinAll\. If the connection mode is ' USB storage', drop curtain left and change the mode to the Media device (MTP). If a window pops up ' USB debugging ', put a tick and click ' OK '. In the folder С:\adbrecovery run install.bat to install TWRP. After installing the tablet will automatically reboot in TWRP.
3.Do a full backup of your system at External_SDcard or USB-Otg.
    4. If you are going to do repartition of internal memory, then connect tablet to PC and save contents of Internal_SD.
    5. Go to Install, find Cube_T98v1.3.zip on External_SD, tap it. Move the slider, follow the instructions of the installation wizard, select your desired option and wait for the end of the installation. If you have chosen to migrate data, process may take 10-15 minutes.
    6. At the end of the installation, if you did repartitioning, remove the tick 'restart the Tablet', go to the menu 'mounting', switch off and switch on the mode mtp to remount the Internal_SD and copy back what previously save to PC in step 4. Reboot.
    7. First boot can take 2-3minutes also may take a few minutes to search network.

            I followed the steps:

            1. Installed TWRP 2.8.7.0 from jemminy.

            2. Then, followed, followed aroma steps - wipe caches, repartition, install, when finish, before reboot, turn MPT mode off, on, then reboot.

            3. On reboot, get screen that says "Type password to decrypt storage".

            4. Now if I reboot to TWRP to restore twrp backup, backup also reached same screen. Error message in twrp is /data failed to mount.

            Any ideas what went wrong?

You made a full backup in twrp? User data migration used?

Yes... Full TWRP backup on external and data migration done. Because I did repartitioning, I followed yr step 6 also.

If I go back to TWRP now, I get /data fail to mount... if I go to twrp Mount options, I cannot select 'Data'.

f I do a twrp restore using my backup, when restore complete, I get the same /data fail to mount and the boot up end at the same screen after reboot... asking for password to decrypt data.

                    Updating partition details...

hmm. i read on xda error message might be due to corrupted data partition and need to manually format using terminal in twrp... going to try that.

Write in detail what you doing from twrp boot to reboot after install, i'll try to do the same. Try install again with repartition, without migrate. Something wrong with data partition.

I actually already tried what you said above, reinstall without repartition & without migrate, just take default options, results same, cannot mount /data partition. I think the data partition is corruption, need to find a way to reformat :-(

Data partitition format during repartition. Try install with repartition and save log at the and.
