MK908 reboots when attempting AnTuTu Benchmark CPU/Memory Test

I have tried both the stock firmware (4.2.2 May 28) and Finnless 1.5 with the supplied 2A power adapter as well as a 4A and everytime I begin the CPU/Memory Test, instant re-boot. I have a usb power meter and can see that the max current draw does not actually accede 1.6A.

Should I return this to the vendor? My Rikomagic MK802iv had no problems running this benchmark on the stock 4.2.2 rom.

Try another USB cable from the PSU. Some can have a really lousy connection. Bottom line almost always when Antutu reboots like that, it's not getting solid power. If your sure all that is in order, maybe then consider you got a bad unit.

      Thanks for the reply!

I've tried a couple different power supplies always with my usb power meter in-line, guess I'll try removing that meter from the equation and re-run.

I also noticed that in both CoolTool and AnTuTu the CPU frequency shows as 1008MHz and never seems to scale up or down. Contrast to my MK802iv which I can see will throtle up from 600MHz to 1.6 GHz. I saw this "locked: CPU clock with both the stock firmware and your 1.5 Finless ROM.

        Same problem here
when I uncheck the first test (cpu & mem) the test runs to the end without problem

I powered it with a quality Belkin, Apple 2Amps nothing

I had the same issue with my CX-919. However, with a different power supply AnTuTu ran fine.

However, after reading Bob' tip I will also try a different cable as the power supply should have enough power to handle it.
