How to remove lock screen on Finless rom 1.7c

I bought the MK808 from geekbuying last 2 weeks, and it came with the latest SW 4.2. I ran into the wifi and freezing issue as other people mention. After that, I load the Finless rom 1.7c and everything went smoothly. I could watch the whole movies from you-tube without any hiccup. There was only app to slow when open is XBMC, then I decided to try new Finless 2.1 ( 4.2.2). The rom version 2.1 load successful and the MK808 came up without any problem. I tried XBMC and it loaded and working faster, however, you-tube did not work at all. When clicking the movie the circle on you-tube app just spinning crazy and nonstop. I reloaded the rom 2.1 again, and I am still not able to watch you-tube movies. Finally I decided to come back rom version 1.7c, the installed went smoothly. However, when booting up the MK808 went straight to lock screen which displayed the clock on the left hand side show 12:00, the icon lock on the right side inside the flashing circle !!! Thus, if anyone had the same problem please shares the solution to remove the lock screen. I saw on the geek site there is a version 4.2 available for download, should I try that one out?

Hi,

Please try these:
1. Go to Settings -> Security -> Screen lock
2. Select None
(The next time you power up or boot your device, there will be no lockscreen anymore.)

thanks for your help, however, this is not a solution for my case. After loading the Finless rom 1.7c my unit boot up and went straight to lock mode. I don't even have a chance to connect to wi fi and update time , or go to setting and change screen lock......

If this is redundant, my apologies.

but, can you unlock the screen so you can go to settings and turn it off?

Use your mouse to move the lock to the right to unlock it. (Put mouse on lock, hold left button and slide right to unlock). Then go to testing as suggested above to turn it off.
