I had some troubles with my box and asked the supplier for the ROM. I managed to get the latest one which also updates again automatically after this is flashed.

Judging by the demand for this I presume the link below will get slow. So if someone can be kind enough to upload it on a better file sharing site and then post it on this thread.

In case anyone missed it, abdul_pt has made us an awesome TWRP recovery for Mini M8S. Latest TWRP 3.0.2 no less! Yay!!!

You can download it from: http://www.freak-tab.de/abdul_pt/aml/TWRP3_Mini_M8S.img. Follow his instructions on: http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...mlogic-devices. Don't forget to buy him beer if you feel he's made your life a little easier.

You can either run TWRP from external SD card only, or flash it to replace the factory recovery. I can breath a little easier now that I have a nandroid backup.

Corrections:
- Editing of the rights of record for application on microSD
- The unit of driver WiFi from boxing MK06
- Editing of tables Device Tree Blob

Results : speed wifi grew, time ping decreased to normal 2-5ms

Use flashing by utility USB Burning Tool
Further it is possible to be updated on "air", fixes do not "fly."

Hello I too have had problems after automatic updates . And I could not find the firmware for this box . You could write here Manufacturer contact ? Then as you download the firmware from your link ? ... Smartphone makes downloading an app ..in fact ' it has reached the maximum download limit.

Doesn't look like it. It says something like "...has reached the upper limit of 7 times, you can not be downloaded...". I had downloaded it ~1hr after you posted it. It's in my Dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mfv60lykj2...04L03.zip?dl=0

How hard is it to upload a file, dropbox download is corrupted, the file size already says that.

It's the latest firmware. Will flash on your device with a full ROM. I've done it twice already and have started playing with the customisation tool.

has anyone else had issue with wifi on these boxes? i had an m8s s812 and the download speed was exact to what i have. hooked up my m8s mini and get 2gb to 8gb download speed when i have 100mb on fibre optic. when i plug it into ethernet its perfect.. i know its better to run the boxes on ethernet but when i cant id love for this box to work properly with wifi. any feed back would be great
