P.S.: I still have high cpu usage in idle (35-40%).

I tested this firmware too, but doesn't solve my problem with pink/green or YCrCb/RGB screen.

        Hi

I have tried to follow the instructions to install the new firmware as well as the SD-robot's, however when I insert the cable connected to USB port 4 to my PC, hoping that it will be recognised by windows (tried 7 & 10), I had no luck. No driver get installed, and the device is not recognized by windows.
My box does not have the reset button, so I am not sure what to do and how to get the latest firmware installed

        Any ideas please?

          Hi @orig1

MXQ Pro+ will be recognized as WorldCup_Device. USB Burning Tool (AUBT) install this driver when you install the tool.

Which AUBT version are you installing?

MXQ Pro+ does not have reset button. And you don't need that button.

I installed version 2.0.7_x86 version, this version is the only one that works after reading the forum.
So, when connecting the mxq pro+ usb 4 into the PC, was your box powered?
I switched off the box and used the USB to connect to my PC, maybe that was why?

Yeap, my box power up and is recognized properly.

Maybe the USB male-male cable is not right?

Did you connect the cable to main or hub usb?

Note driver installs when installing AUBT, no need for TV Box to be connected. Driuver installs as WroldCup device driver.

In spanish as you can see (driver is controlador in spanish)

And driver folder in program files folder shows this device driver too.

Try SD-Robot version of Tronsmart S95.

I'm going to change my MXQ Pro+ for the TronSmart S95 Meta for sure.

                  Thanks asmartin

I was connected to USB directly.
                  I shall give another go.

I'm using Windows 7 64 bits and works fine.

Try to confirm you already have installed the driver at C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository

                      Thanks.

I am using windows 10 64 bit and I can see the driver in the location you have pointed.
I will try to connect the usb again and see if it will recognize it

                        Got one question.
I have just connected the usb to the PC.
No indication that the box is recognized, should something launch or happen?

Also just realized the driver folder is
                          worldcup_device.inf_amd64_381096806342dd2f

                          while yours is

                          worldcup_device.inf_amd64_neutral_381096806342dd2f

                          does it matter?

Observe: DON'T PLUG POWER SOURCE when connecting to your computer, just USB cable to USB 4 port ok?

Interesting, after connecting the usb, nothing happens as you normally expect windows to recognize a device
