ok, disconnect power, and connect USB.
mxq pro just turned on and working.
    so, next steps are:
    1. Remove the cable
    2. Launch USB BURNING TOOL
    3. Load the IMG file (I will go with sd-robot)
    4. Choose english and make sure both option are ticked (erase flash and boot loader)
    5. press start and connect usb

    Is that right

          New Zealand.

Everything works great now, kodi cpu usage is much more stable.
I hope the machine will not randomly restart as it used to

I guess you already tested the box.
              Good to know

Yeap, and finally I purchased a Tronsmart S95 Telos, similar hardware but fully working firmware

You can find in Aliexpress just for $71

Yes I wintalled and tested, but seems that "Froce RGB" option does not work properly. And there are other issues related to WiFi, Ethernet and performance not as nice as original Tronsmart. And I found Tronsmart S95 Telos with 2/16GB just for 64 EUR in Aliexpress.

That sounds like a pretty good deal. I'm kinda new to this, what is Froce rgb?.

I ordered the mxq pro plus as well, but haven't got it yet, from what I heart there's many problems with its firmware, so I will run openelec on it, since I don't care about android, but only kodi, have you tried openelec on the box? And if so, what is your experience with it?

Personally I will keep this box and when boxes with s912 are released I will buy one of those.

Another issue I have is the 100 mbit ethernet speed instead of Gigabit.

The box max supports 100, witch is fine in my opinion, I mean what can you possibly be streaming that needs more than 100mbit

You are wrong I see several sites, it should be gigabit.
The bigger problem is not that. I measured the samba speed on ethernet, and I got 15mBit/s for both upload and download. (yes its not a mistake, mbit/s...)

It can't be that the inbuilt flash memory / disk may be kinda slow so that can maybe be the bottleneck?

My NAS is able to push files with 60-100 mBytes/s, I think its not a bottleneck.
After some 4K test video was bumpy with lots of buffering halts, I pushed up the network buffer size to 200 mByte, Kodi play the videos fewer pauses, but still exist some in an 1-2 minute video. So the cpu can play 4K x265 videos smoothly, but the network handling is very bad.
P.S.: Pulse H5007NL the lan chip on the board, it is a gigabit kind, but its set to 100 mbit by OS.
