    MXQ QuickPlay custom ROM

Just to cover my needs (rgb switch for HDMI display issues), I have built a custom rom, taken two as source:

One from 4pda.ru (http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...smart-firmware) having the rgb mode kernelm, plus other additions such as standby or a lower bar.

Stock firmware (http://chinagadgetsreviews.com/downl...ay-tv-box.html). This one provides the remote.conf and wifi & bluetooth drivers

I have set up the init scripts to switch on rgb_mode on boot and enable all CEC configs. rgb_mode will show a greenish screen, reverting by itself to normal after a while.
SPMC and existing VidOn are installed by default.

Only things missing are a preinstalled supersu (it was failing on boot, even the su binary has been replaced) and XBMC Launcher (installed butt not booting any player, SPMC nor VidOn)

And the download link (ready for USB burning tool usage):

I suppose a disclaimer isn't needed, but use it at your own risk, and feel free to share your experience.

Unpack the original firmware and the rgb_moded one and just replace files (and rc files). As per http://www.adslzone.net/postt407102.html, the wifi chipset is the same as mxq quickplat, so this firmware should/might be compatible

You can depack it with Amlogic customization tool: http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...ion-tool-2-0-7
