    I've just attempted to flash the above img file by loading it and click the Restore button in Batch Tool but it ended up failing on the first hurdle where it attempts 'Download Boot Start'. Here is the log from Batch Tool:
    Code:
    19:08:30 213 Rockchip Batch Tool v1.7.1.1 start run
    19:11:52 505    **********Restore Start Total<1>**********
    19:11:52 505    <Layer 4-6> Download Boot Start
    19:11:52 864    <LAYER 4-6> ERROR:Boot_VendorRequest-->DeviceIoControl failed,Total(12290),Sended(12288),bRet(0),err(31)
    19:11:52 864    <LAYER 4-6> ERROR:DownloadBoot-->Boot_VendorRequest471 failed,index(0)
    19:11:52 864    <Layer 4-6> Download Boot Fail
    19:11:52 864    **********Restore Done Success<0> Fail<1> Time<359>ms**********
    Any input would be much appreciate as I'm not sure if I'm even going about this the right way?

      It sometimes helps to 'sleep on it'... a thought occurred to me during the night when I wondered whether the failure was down to lack of power since it was only being powered by the USB port...

      This morning I carried out the process to the blue square and then followed by also plugging in the power jack.

      I then pressed the Restore Button in Batch tool and the program came to life and went through a hole multitude of coloured squares... but then came up with a failed message at the end of the process.

      I'm hoping this is just down to wrong firmware and no longer a hardware issue...

      Any input would be welcomed, here's the log:

        Success!

        Changed to a 3rd computer as it seemed that there was something about the 2nd's USB system that caused it to fail no matter which port I used.

        Restored via Batch Tool and all is up and running again.

        Thanks again to Neomode and Scooter2014.
