Nexbox A95X 2/16gb modded rom combined with MINI M8SII firmware

hello everybody.
i'm not a rom developer i'm just a normal user with some spare time.
i'm not an expert of this device so i can't give much support

with the help of prahjister i made this rom
he suggested me to check and follow these 2:

what i obtained is a rom that suits perfectly my needs:
-root
-navbar
-notification bar
-recent apps
-no language reset
-remote control turns on the device

i combined the level 1 of N95X with level 2 of Mini M8SII adding wifi, bluetooth and remote needed files.

i have no responsability and no possibility to check what could happen to your device if it is even just a little different than mine.
and again, i'm not expert, so maybe i cannot give you support

Hi, Is this for single wifi(2.4G) or dual wifi(2.4G+5G) version?
Apparently there are 2 variants within 905x 2G+16G model.

My Box is not here yet It is going to arrive Monday at worst, but i will definitely try it when it does

Hi lothian77,

Flashed your firmware and like it very much ! (glad you preserved the original Amlogic boot logo as the boot animation...)

Despite I use another launcher, I really liked your desktop visual... :-)

Still didn't tried all the firmware areas, ( I will do it in the next few days...)

Meanwhile, I tested a backup with TWRP recovery, and when restoring system partition, had the following error: "extractTarFork() process ended with ERROR=255"

But don't be sad, because I had also this same error with the "Prahjister Frankenstein firmware".

I left some days ago, on the "Mod for Tanix TX5 Pro MiniM8SII and Nexbox A95X COOLEME MB1 X9 Frankenstein Firmware WIP" forum, a message to him, (post #712), about the same problem, but until now he didn't replied about it.

Can you try to backup and restore the firmware system partition with TWRP recovery to see if the same problem happens with you ?

The other two partitions, (BOOT and DATA), restores without any problem, only system partition shows this annoying problem.

IMHO, I feel that this problem is maybe related with some files on the system partition, that have some kind of attributes that lock and avoid them to be restored.

i'm happy that you like it
actually i didn't do much for the view. all you see is from the stock mini m8sII.
i use nova launcher for my daily use.

i didn't even installed twrp yet i'm not a rom develper and i use everyday the tv box for simple streaming. i just prepared this rom because i didn't liked the original.

if i will install it and need to try it, i will let you know my results.

I tryed to flash this rom on my Nexbox A95x S905X (2/16)
With SD tool no success
With USB Burning tool same (tryed version 2.0.5 and 2.0.7)
This my steps:
- launch USB Burning tool as admin
- load img file
- connect usb 2.0 cable to the box
- I ear the sound that connection is established and box recognized
- I click start on the tool (no power cord and no reset button pushed)

I tryed on two different pc

If I check Erase Bootloader I have this error





If I check only Erase flash I have this error




Someone could help me please ???

no... senti, rileggi bene quello che ti ho scritto in pvt: prima premo su start, poi connetto N95X al computer.
inoltre hai una versione vecchia di burning tool, cerca la 2.0.7.2 (me ne sono accorto solo ora di questo)

in english:
we already disccussed in pvt and i told him to press start before connecting the device to computer
and also thet he has an old version of the burning tool
