Need advise / Help Openelec -> Android

Hiya Folks,

Hope you can help me

Ik have a Eminent 7580 Tv Streamer box.
Some info of the box:

Openelec 6.95.2.70 / Kodi Jarvis 16.1 RC
Chipset: AMLogic S805-H with Dolby and DTS, Quad Core Cortex 1,5GHz
GPU: Quad core Mali-450MP

ITS now running Openelec.. but is it also possible to put Android on this machine?
If so what rom or tools i need for this?

I have been searching but there is so much information en different roms files outthere,
that i dont want to risk briking my machine

Hello Stormbreaker, Welcome to Freaktab.

I do not own this device. Knowing some things about your device's hardware may help, like WiFi module used, etc. Also quality pictures of the PCB may help others suggest a firmware to try.

Whatever you do, try to get a copy of the firmware that is on it now, before you experiment. There is always risk associated with trying other firmwares, and you will want the original F/W just in case. Though bricking is still possible.

OpenELEC will likely run better and faster than Android will on the S805.

Proceed with caution.
