Hi,

Thanks for the prompt reply. I have used the finless 1.8 custom ROM 4.1 and that ran fine with the same setup.
I don't think there is any problem with the power supplied to the unit; can there be any other issue? I have already tried re flashing still the problem persists.

I have a MK802III. It runs the same roms as the UG802 though.

So, I have installed the ROM on my UG802. I had to use
su
reboot bootloader
but i eventually managed to install the driver and the flash tool said it was successful.
Only now, when I plug it in, it says the following:

"Recovery system v4.2

Formatting /data..."

And it doesn't do anything else anymore. What can I do?

Did that, this time erased IDB first and now seems to be booting. thanks for the quick reply

Installing an app

hello, exelent work in this rom, i only have a problem installing an app from a APK (no google play): when i run the apk and try to press the "install" botton it does´t let me press. any idea why? anyone else with this problem?

Go to Settings Security and there Install unsigned Apps.
Should fix your prop.

List of improvements

First of all, great job in this rom Neomode.

I installed it and worked great, and it is very stable, but there are a list of improvements that i found in Finless 8.1 and i think that could be good to inlude in.

-Lock screen, configurable in settins/security
-Better support for aplications in PlayStore (f.e. Boat broswer is not alowed to install in PlayStore)

stuck in boot

Hello after flashing my device UG802 booted up fine. Then after next reboot I get stuck in the screen showing the round big circle saying 'neomode custom rom'. How do i re-flash or get device working? when connecting the device to the PC the flashtool does not rekognize any devices. Thanks for any help.
