Can someone point me to info on "eMedia Home"? I looked in both google play and a general google search but came up blank.

          UG007B...This ROM....multi-touch?

Does anyone know if I plug my new UG007B running Neomode's rom from this thread if multitouch functionality would work if I plug it into a multitouch device??

Flash rom from linux (no android) on UG802

            Hi,

Any idea how can i flash this rom using linux (basically there is no android) on my UG802.

Below is what i did to get in this state:

            I have a UG802 (RK3066) mini pc...successfully loaded finless bob rom 1.8.
Then tried to install picuntu - but boot rebootloader was not giving me the linux screens.

Middle of the night madness, i ran finless bobs tool again and instead of choosing finless as recovery.img, i replaced picuntu recovery.img directly in the tool and flashed.

Net result, I now have a working installation of picuntu and everything works fine
...but i have no way to access/load android alongside???

Plugging in my device in windows and running the finless bobs flashtool fails to RECOGNISE my rk3066 (presumably as its running linux and not connecting to windows via usb)

so question is - is there a way to add 'connect as usb storage' option (that we get in android settings) to my picuntu configuration (so when i connect the device to windows it gets recognised). ???

I thought i will give the linux instructions a go(http://www.slatedroid.com/topic/4121...-adb-on-linux/)
but its turning out more tricky than i thought it would be...any shortcuts would be appreciated.

I'm sorry you have gotten yourself into a bind but how many places are you going to post this? The cleanest solution would have been to create your own thread with the question but posting the same thing in multiple threads which trigger the subscriptions and in my case send me multiple emails with your question doesn't make folks want to help.http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...1#post85961You need to google on how to get the ug802 into flash mode manually then flash CWM back to it and use cwm to do a restore from backup or install a rom.

Apologies, wasn't sure where this fits into....i will remove the posts.

finally sorted it out last night by opening my ug802 and shorting the 2 pins and booting it at the same time with bob's flash tool running - it recognised the devie and i could reflash back to android.
                thanks,

                    multi windows

                    Hi,
is this rom based on linux 3.0.36+?
If so, it would be great to have the multi windows option. I think that it should be compatible with the rk3066 chip.

this means you are in recovery mode.
here the internal nand and data will be formatted.
if it not moves forward flash again with erase IDB first.

                          Thanks!

                          Edit:

No sorry this is not a CWM Package.
                            Must be installed via RKFlashTool.

Well it was done quite simple, see my post above.
I'm running your ROM now, still having the CWM recovery.

                              (I just didn't replace your recovery.img btw.)

                                Hi,
it may be totally outdated, but I think there is a 4.2 firmware for ug802 from apad.tv, dated end of august . Has someone already tested it?
