But you can use a OTA Update (.zip) to update an existing Amlogic burn package (.img) with the Customization Tool. The .zip usually includes bootloader and boot partition images, and then you just need to run the updater, take a snapshot of the new image with dd, convert it to a sparse image, and replace the system.PARTITION in /tmp/level1. Repack with the Customization Tool, and you're good to go.

Update from videostrong for KM8PRO (tested in my 8gb version): Choose one of them
-SD version (use update local) https://mega.nz/#F!YJxDSS7S!vdGfQdtWjmWEm2tjcaVrQg
-IMG version (use Amlogic tool) https://mega.nz/#!lQRx0YpB!hd8M0S2f8...QyxDnFHDVWSXNU
OS version: Android 6.0.1
Release date: Febb 09 2017
Security patch: Ago 2016
kernel: 3.14.29
Sources by: androidtvbox.eu
Antutut benchmark: 40000
Noticed small bugs:
-To use a microsd (Tested with sandisk 32gb) as internal memory is needed to run as external memory (only for pictures, music, ect) then go to settings\memory and format it for internal memory usage
-Launcher shows an error on boot if some program is added in the main page (just click ok on error and all will works until rebooting the system)
-SuperSU clockworkmod edition requires an update on boot (it works but no update is available, probably to fix it is needed to install a mod recovery)
My opinion about this box:
Really good, bought it with gearbest promo at 40€ and is pretty fast. Mali T820 is really more fast than usual mali 450 and so is possible to play Dead Trigger,Shadowgun and Real Racing 3 with high resolution (mod-> just go to its folder and use high resolution plist). Wifi AC works good but i don't how much because my ADSL is only 15MB\s
Cons: Librelec is only available in experimental version for now because there isn't a mali driver compatibleLast edited by Kazar; 14 March 2017, 10:56.

Hey all. I downloaded the above update from Kazar. I unzipped the folder and put it in a folder on my usb drive. I put it in the machine. Went to settings, updates and choose local. found the folder and clicked on it, it rebooted and started to update it looked like and then it just kept saying failed, failed, failed, failed.
What am i doing wrong?

I tried the newest Firmware 2/9/17 modified and uploaded on a Russian Forum (4PDA). Works fine, except the 5Ghz wireless is unavailable. I suspect it was eliminated or altered on purpose for whatever reason. I don't speak Russian and hence can't register to ask the forum. The Yoka KB2 rom does the same thing, while the original Firmware doesn't. Is there a way to reinstall this function, does anybody know?

1)downgrade to old working firmware. Just open old zip file and edit update script to avoid firmware version check. Than flash it via twrp
2)dowgrade via pc
3)copy km8pro wifi driver to yoka kb2 rom. The folder is in ect/wifi
