trying to get any KK rom to get working on original mk808b , no luck

i have an original MK808B with 903 chip (checked on that inside)
i tried every 903 kitkat rom , but always end up with 2 penguins
there is only 1 kitkat rom that boots , and its an mtk version (lol) , obviously wifi and bt dont work (http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...(Fully-Working)
I cant find what is different from the others (besides wifi chip) that makes it boot
i was hoping someone already figured out what is the matter, because i see other people that have the same problem , but didnt find an solution
Im running finless rom 2.1 at the moment but wifi keeps switching off and on randomly during an movie (wifi power saving off and full signal) and was hoping an kitkat rom would fix that issue
also tried to get an usb wifi dongle to work instead , but none of the modules that supposed to work on my dongle work at all lol

for MK808B too,stands there,if possible try and flash it with KK kernel & recource of your Stock or any 808B Customrom.Always Backup your Data.Hope it helps.

i dont know if u noticed , but your first link is the same as the one i posted , but its for a MTK type , i have a 903 type

i also tried the kernel you linked to on all the kk rom's i tried ,with the same no-boot result

on the vondroid website in your 3rd link i didnt find any kk roms

i have been doing a lot of research on these forums , but so far did not find a solution

i also tried the repacker app , and unpacked all roms i could find and compared them
sadly my knowledge is not enough to figure out why the MTK rom boots and all 903 roms don't ,even though i 100% sure have a 903 chipset ,because i opened it up

i hope anyone else can give me his 2 cents

In VonDroid you have to registrated before you can load anything.It was only the MainThread Page.


Remember many of this Sticks have Wifi Solder Bugs ( to many Solder on it /shorten the Wifi)

ok , i think i know what your talking about now , the antenna coax soldering
i already replaced my internal wifi antennas with original 2.4Ghz router antennas a while back
i have full signal now
also put bigger coolers on the chips
but my wifi is switching off and on , and only for a short time , and also just randomly
sometimes i can watch a whole movie and sometimes only 10 minutes before it happens
