Thanks to Lightinthebox we have a a quick first look at the V99 Magic S912 2/16GB

A good looking 2 tone unit Black Glossy Top and all plastic some Ventilation on the underside.

WiFi Antenna, weight block in the Base. PCB is mounted upside down the Heatsink of the Cpu is a few mm's from the weight block
easy to mount some 5mm thermal Pad if required yet to be thrashed.


Power LED dull Red when Off and dull Blue when on will not be annoying and the IR pickup for remote.

After an Update the SCISHION V99 Magic, Amlogic S912 2/16, Dual WiFI, Gig Lan BT4 how now become very usable indeed.
Original firmware dated way back in September was not polished,with newer firmware dated late October things moving along.

Running the V99 for a few hours after update no Major problems or issues, Heat no Melt Down Temps Mid to Hi 60c when pushed.
Found that both WiFi, Ethernet speeds good at this location, and overall performance was on track for this Breed of Media Player.

So lets have a look at what it has
Standard MBOX UI clean and does the job well, many variants about this one is ok, you can install others if you wish.
The Unit has Proper Root with Notifications with the current updated firmware.
