    MK808b external player active issue.

Hi, I am new at this and need some help, I bought an MK808B which was working fine and setup with XBMC. Someone had logged on with their email to the playstore and did not supply the password. I decide it to reset to factory default. After reseting the factory default I lost the XMBC then I installed MX player and XMBC but not when I try to start any video in Mas UP I get the error "External player active" and it is not working at all. Please help.

    Regards.

Did you install the correct version of XBMC? You need the XAF version to use an external player like MX.

Also, make sure you install MX player first and run it once or twice before installing XAF XMBC.

      Hi and thanks,

I did use the XAF XBMC and MX and installed MX first then XBMC still the same issue. Where can I get a copy of XBMC that does not use external player so I can try it. By the way here what I tried so far.

Reset to factory default before every different try.
      Installed MX then XBMC
      Installed XBMC then MX
      Installed XBMC only

All gave me the same error "External player active".

Thanks in advance for all the help.

Seems to be a known issue, according to this thread:

You can get the regular XBMC from here:

Glad it's working now. Did you install the standard XBMC in the end?
