is the remote supposed to come with a dongle( i am thinking it does)? Mine did not have it inside the remote body under the battery cover or anywhere else in the box. Never fails, its always something!

Yes it is supposed to come with a USB dongle.

Ask the supplier if they can send you one.

Erm mine didn't come with a dongle either but the supplied remote works.. Was i have supposed to get a dongle? I assumed maybe my model didn't need one as the remote works...

            Mine came with one.

Perhaps they have changed the design and integrated it into the box.

ok well i havent plugged it in yet. im simply waiting to hear from the seller first. I purposely bought and paid a little more to a USA seller to avoid this kind of thing in the hopes of NOT having to contact the parent company in China.

You might as well plug it in and find out first.

If it works then it's not something that you have to think about.

working ok so far. i do think they need to adjust the timeout of video turning on upon boot. it took a few seconds extra that had me worried but finally showed. could be an issue if folks need to access bios(unless you spam the button lol). using sony bravia, so far ok.

air mouse works great. but prefer the Rii8 I have instead. Windows seems very snappy, turned off alot of useless junk. Decided to go with Windows Defender/Firewall enabled instead of adding processes by using third party antivirus. Using the box for my SlingTV service since I cut the cord. The video is much better/smoother/sharper on the Intel onboard vid than the Minix X8-H plus I was using. Havent even tried the Android side yet as I've really no need thx to Win 10. Booting seems very quick, I measured at 11 seconds from the button press so its pretty darn good. Havent tested anything in relation to the Fat32 limitation yet. Im sure we can get around this somehow, have to do more digging. Thats where im at so far.........back to it!

That is one of the benefits of Windows. It just works first time and every time exactly as you would want.

There should be no file format limitations with Windows either.

A case of as long as you know the limitations then it will work a treat, especially with Kodi.

i must have misread what you typed earlier on about limitations of 32gb from an older driver. My apologies. But yea it would be nice to be able to use something larger if you dont have a network/samba share active.

                          Oh yes.

The limitations that I have found are with some larger SD cards but others have reported that others work, so will be variable.

No problems in reading FAT32, NTFS and exFat for those cards that do work though.

Using NTFS in Android will be more of an issue with android though at the moment but I am playing with getting root and porting Marshmallow X86, although it's a long process.

awesome. Im currently using my Samsung EVO 32gb micro card in the reader it came with in win 10. Loaded up a bunch of arcade roms and it plays great.

Mame64. Snes9x. PCSX2(playstion2) found in pre configured. Using my own arcade stick I built. Now I can play in the living room as well on the arcade machine! PCSX2 plays suprising well on this little machine.

hope the link was ok, do a search for PCSX2 or playstation 2 emu. there is a link there to pre configured version that works relatively well. Plays full framerate/sound on regular pc of course too.

Finally got Kodi back in and working great using 17. No more BS about it not working on older android versions etc etc. As much as I love to fiddle around on android, Windows is where its at with me personally Cheers.
