Yes you can try.. always have a backup of working rom on external CD first.
Or u could install twrp, and flash zip files from there.

Thanks, i don´t have a backup or a external cd.


With twrp I have made bad experiences. On 2 tv dongle was the play back not successful. The original stock rom the manufacturers did not work.

There is another possibility to create a backup?

it works and has working wifi working remote...I have found some of the newer firmwares on there for my mxq box the wifi does not work...

update just installed this droibox firmware http://chinagadgetsreviews.blogspot....at-442_17.html on my mxq amlogic s805
I am now upgraded to KOT49H.20160129 and controller and wifi all working fine...
it left all my preinstalled apps and kodi intact and I did not even have to reconnect to wifi... PS. use at own risk
