128GB Samsung Micro SD adopted storage reports as 32GB

This card is genuine I was using on my PC and filled with 100+GB before I moved all this to another card and it was directly from Amazon not fulfilled. The card reports as 32GB in the settings on my Nexbox A95X 2GB 16GB box. But when I go to view what's on the card at the bottom it does show as over 116GB available. I'm going to try to get over 32GB of apps installed on the mounted card too see what happens but why before viewing in detail the storage reports as 32GB? Should I be concerned or is this an error? It's a class 10 card purchased late last year. It did warn me about possible slow speeds but apparently that's common place with Android 6.0.1 or which ever 6+ version is loaded on the box. I've got the latest OTA update installed from November last year.

    How is the card formatted?

    FAT32, exFAT, NTFS?

    Try formatting it in Android.

It did get reformatted when I set this as to be internal storage for apps I believe.

Not sure about this, I've plugged in my 3TB 3.5" hard drive and it seems to find all the folders and Kodi 17 RC sees them too.

USB is a different matter and of course in this case it has been formatted to be part of the internal storage.

Most SD card readers on these boxes do tend to be certified for 32Gb use, with some managing to read 64Gb and above but it can be a lottery.

I guess you can try to fill it to over 32Gb and see if the data can be read back.

Yea it does recognize its larger than 32GB whether it will install the apps once in excess of this is to be seen.
