    [Brick] MXQ PRO 4K RK3229

    Hello people,

I just hard bricked my MXQ Pro 4k (the one with the red 4K on it) with a RK3229 chip.
I was trying to flash a stock rom with batch tool v1.7, which failed multiple times. I then downloaded v1.4 to try again, but the language files missed. So I thought that the third button from the left was the "upgrade" button.... (I know... Stupid. Should have checked it first...)

    ~removed some dumb stuff I said >.<

Attached some pictures of the board.

Hope somebody can help me out!

Alright, I finally made it to MASK ROM mode.

I erased the flash with the EraseFlash option in AndroidTool v2.3
Rockchip batch tool v1.8 now gives a blue square. (MASK MODE)
But whenever I try to flash an MXQ PRO 4K RK3229 firmware, it fails (using the Restore option)

It always returns a "Prepare IDB Fail". I'm really stuck at this point... :s

    Please help!!

Wish I could help with the idb fail. I have the same bricked box and can flash in masked mode successfully but no dice on reboot. What firmware did you use?

        Hi tloader7 and others ,

Dont use Batchtool , try it with AndroidTool 2.30 or 2.35 and first "erase IDB" wait till ready

and then press "run" , single .img Files under Tab 2 / splitted under Tab 1.

Maybe your Device can use Mos Roms for RK3229 , but first ask in the suggested Thread :
