I don't know which version this one is for but worth a look.

It looks like the 1/8 box as that is what is shown in the product catalogue.

You can also request more info here.

There seems to be an issue with the link from the site icon.

This is a more direct one.

That Tanix tx2 firmware is for both the 1GB and 2GB versions according to the download page. I just ordered one today and now I hear from a review that it only plays up to 720p even when being set to 1080p. I really hope that reviewer just got confused due to youtube being limited to 720p on Android devices. Hopefully that doesn't apply to my 1080p kodi content.

It's a 4k box, so output will be just that.

The review may have been referring to Youtube or even the GUI interface.

Just received this box myself and I seem to have the previously mentioned reviewers problem in reverse. I have the box set to 1080 @60hz and my TV reports as such but when I view system info in both Kodi/SPMC it shows 720p @240hz. Would anyone know a way to fix this? After I successfully unlocked 1080p in its YT app, this box seems to have a lot of potential at its price point if it can get past this deal breaking Kodi issue.

Is there a firmware tool for the TX2-R2? I've tried to boot from SD Card but that doesn't seem to work with the box

I've also tried the USB_Burning_Tool with no success (works perfectly for loading T95Z Plus boxes)

Any instructions or links to relevant guides for updating/loading firmware to TX2-R2 would be very much appreciated!

When you say that you have tried booting from an SD card, did you use the burn card maker to make the card?

What issues/errors are you getting with the burning tool?

When using the tool/card are you booting the box into the right mode (usually by pressing in the reset button for a second or two whilst you apply power to the box)?

I wrote a few basic instructions on using the SD card method here.

Yes, I used the burn card maker, still couldn't get the boxes to boot from SD Card and start the firmware load process.

I was able to find the Rockchip Batch Tool v1.8 and successfully get the firmware loaded via USB cable. (which I also found much more reliable with the Amlogic boxes as well using the USB_Burning_Tool)

I do appreciate the quick response, will definitely review your SD Card instructions to see if I've missed something (pretty sure I've been doing it right, but you never know LOL)
